STEDT claims that "this root has so far only been discovered in Tibetan dialects." This is incorrect; Zhang, Jacques and Lai (2019) and Hill (2019) accept Chinese 嘔 / 呕 as cognate, with the former also admitting Japhug qioʁ as another cognate.
