Etymology
From Proto-Balto-Slavic *muśas, from Proto-Indo-European *músos. Cognate with Lithuanian mūsai̇̃, mùsos (“mould”), Proto-Germanic *musą, and perhaps Old Armenian մամուռ (mamuṙ).
