VBA stomping (uncountable)

  1. (computer security) An exploit in which the VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) source code in a document is removed or replaced, but the compiled p-code is left intact. Since in some cases only the source code is checked for malware, this can allow malicious code to go undetected.
