Usage notes
beri tahu and kasih tahu are used with the sense "to tell, inform" (as in jangan beri tahu kata sandi saya ke siapa pun, don't tell my password to anyone), while suruh is used with the sense "to tell, command" (as in Ibu Murni suruh kita buat tugas ini, Mrs. Murni told us to do this task).
