Contraction of căca + mă + aș – literally "May I shit". From Latin Latin cacāre (“to defecate”), with reflexive and conditional forms added. Used as a vulgar, expressive interjection to convey shock, annoyance, ridicule, or frustration, often followed by a humorous or insulting clause.
