Etymology

Possibly from cen +‎ a +‎ kuq (red), due to the physical characteristic red-orange tint of some of bird's areas, where cen in this case would be the closest to the original meaning of spot, mark according to Çabej, and the middle a infix is for the dialectal plural.[1]
