Etymology
From kap (“I grab, catch, grip”) + -th (diminutive suffix); the former from Proto-Albanian *kapa, from Proto-Indo-European *keh₂p-. Cognate with Lithuanian kāpas (“grave”), kopà (“dune”), Latvian kãpa (“dune”).[1]
