What is the difference between 4K, UHD and QHD? Do we agree on one official resolution?

Nowadays it seems that Full HD isn’t enough anymore and the terms “4K,” “QHD” and “UHD” are thrown around interchangeably. At the same time, there is not just one “4K” resolution in the catalogs. I have seen resolutions such as 2560 x 1600, 3440 x…

Move mouse proportionally between different resolution (and DPI) displays

I have three displays, a 4K display flanked by two 1080p displays. Physically, these monitors are roughly the same size. Furthermore, Windows 10 handles the DPI scaling of the 4K monitor separately from the 1080p monitors just fine. So while it…

macOS Sierra doesn't scale for 4k monitor

I just upgraded to macOS Sierra. In El Capitan, I could have my 4k monitor (Dell P2715Q) scale so it was the equivalent of a 2560x1440 monitor, but in Sierra it only lets me do 2k/4k resolutions now. Anyone know of a fix?

I'm on a 15.6 inch 3840x2160 display, and scaling it at 150% gives me a perfect mix of lots of real estate and readable text size, but non-DPI aware apps have blurry text. Is there any way to scale all normal(DPI-Aware) apps at 150%, but scale…
