The Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment (LXDE) is a desktop environment for unix/linux operating systems with minimal system requirements, suitable for resource-constrained computers and netbooks. Comparable to xfce.
LXDE is written in C. LXDE uses rolling releases for the individual components (or group of components with coupled dependencies) and openbox as its window manager.
