Questions tagged [macbook-air]

Use this tag for questions specifically about Apple's line of ultra-portable laptops. Questions about how to use OS X should instead use [osx].

The MacBook Air is Apple's line of ultra-portable laptops. Apple currently produces two form factors: a model with an 11.6 inch screen and one with a 13.3 inch screen.

MacBook Airs ship with OS X by default; however, questions about OS X that are not directly related to running on the Air should be tagged .

History

From the line's introduction in early 2008 until mid-2009, the Air shipped with a 1.8 inch hard drive. With the introduction of the third-generation model in late 2010, Apple switched to providing solid-state drives only.
