Microsoft Messaging is an instant messaging Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app. Also known as 'Messaging', 'Windows Messaging', and recently, 'Windows Operator Messages'.

On mobile devices, Microsoft Messaging allows users to receive and send SMS messages. On desktop, this functionality was restricted to viewing SMS messages sent via Skype. More recently, the app has been repurposed into an app used solely for receiving messages about your data plan, and rebranded as Windows Operator Messages in some places.
