Unetbootin is a free and open source program used to create pendrives, that can be used to install or use a live version of an operating system without the need of a CD or DVD.

It is cross-platform and can be used on Microsoft , Mac , and .

It can automatically download the chosen distribution from a wide list of supported ones, or it can be provided with an existing .iso file.
