Sminthopsis fuliginosa (Gould, 1852)

• Lectotype: BMNH 1844.2.15.20, adult ♂, collected by J. Gilbert. [designated by Thomas (1888: 305)]
• Type locality: “both at King George's Sound and in the vicinity of Perth”.
