đầu cua tai nheo

Vietnamese

Etymology

Literally "crab's head and catfish's ears".

Some articles also suggest that the morpheme tai here is not "ear", but Chinese  / (sāi, fish gill) (SV: tai), so the phrase is instead "crab's head and catfish's gills".
