Etymology
The formation is similar to ἄραδος (árados), ὅμαδος (hómados), ῥοῖβδος (rhoîbdos) and χρόμαδος (khrómados). Not related to κλητός (klētós) but it has been compared to κελαρύζω (kelarúzō, “to murmur”).
