Usage notes

According to the Babylonian Talmudic teaching (at Baba Kama, 93:70b), צָפּוֹן (tsapón) is apparently connected to the word סבון, for soap. Normally, in the Mishnaic text, the word בורית is associated with soapery or cleanse-washing.
