Etymology

Inherited from Old Hindi ग्यारह (gyāraha), a metathesis of इगारह (igāraha), from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀏𑀕𑀸𑀭𑀲 (egārasa), from Sanskrit एकादश (ékādaśa).
