     pradhānācārya mahoday lagbhag pitājī ke sam[-]āyu the. unhõne apne sir ke bañjar van ko ek ṭopī se ḍhak rakhā thā. tondīlā badan aur bāt-bāt par hãsne kī unkī ādat.

     The principal sir was almost of the same age as my father. He had covered the barren forest of his head with a cap. He had a pot-bellied body and a habit of laughing at every little thing.
