แม่นาง

From แม่ (mɛ̂ɛ, “a title for or term of address to a woman”) +‎ นาง (naang, “idem”). Compare Khmer មេនាង (meiniəng); Lao ແມ່ນາງ (mǣ nāng). Cognate with Vietnamese mị nương, mỵ nương.^[1]
