By surface analysis, ᩈᩥ᩠ᨷ (ten) +‎ ᩋᩮᩢ᩠ᨯ (one). Parallel with Thai สิบเอ็ด (sìp-èt), which is similarly analysable as a compound of สิบ (sìp, ten) and เอ็ด (èt, one). Other parallels include Lao ສິບເອັດ (sip ē ʼat), ᦉᦲᧇᦵᦀᧆ (ṡiib˙ʼed), Shan သိပ်းဢဵတ်း (síp ʼáet) and Zhuang cib it.
