- The 40th letter and 32nd consonant of the Tai Tham Pali alphabet. In Pali it represents the retroflex lateral approximant consonant /ɭ/, written <ḷ> in the Roman script.

Usage notes
In the modern vernacular languages, it represents the dental lateral approximant consonant /l/. The graphical distinction between ᩃ and ᩊ is purely etymological.
