Small form of the hiragana character お (o).
ぉ
- Small combining form of hiragana お (o) used to explicitly specify the vowel part of the previous hiragana character, or to show a speaker's pronunciation or extension of that vowel.
- ふぉ - the sound [ɸo] rather than [ɸu] (ふ) or [ho] (ほ)
- しふぉん - transliteration of French chiffon
