Noun
龱 • (ta)
- alternative form of 田
Usage notes
- A variant of 田, as in 梅田 (Umeda, place name in Osaka), used by Hankyu Railway. This way of writing was for easy identification of tickets to Umeda before ticket vending machines were introduced because it is the busiest station in the whole Hankyu system. Other stations with the kanji 田 are still written in the normal way.
