-bra

Etymology
From Proto-Italic *ðrā, from Proto-Indo-European *-dʰrom (“instrumental suffix”), or possibly in some cases from Proto-Indo-European *-dʰlom with subsequent dissimilation of l...l to l...r in Italic. Almost always preceded somewhere in the same word by /l/ or /r/; scatebra is an exception to this generalization.
