- Used to form masculine singulative nouns.
- Used to form masculine diminutive nouns.
- Used to form masculine nouns denoting origin, characteristic or occupation.
Usage notes
- Used after nouns ending in the vowel -a.
- After the vowels -e, -i, -o, -u the form -yta is used.
- After nouns ending in a consonant, the forms -tu and -ta are used (depending on the preceding vowel).
