A hunting castle built from 1608 to 1616 and still intact.

As a municipality however renamed with effect from 28 October 1964 from Liemke, comprehending the homonymous Bauerschaft still obviously separate from the village Schloß Holte, both in the western half of the town of Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock.
