ghioagă
Romanian
Etymology
Unknown. Possibly from Latin clāva, which would have resulted in a hypothetical *ghie or *chie, to which the unexplained suffix -oagă was later added. Other possibilities include a Vulgar Latin root *clāvica.
Noun
