- Giving loving service to God and human beings is known as seva. According to Hindu scriptures it is the highest form of dharma. Some seva can produce good karma, which enables the atman to proceed towards moksha where it will be united with God. There are many ways Hindus can perform seva—for example, by worshipping regularly or by giving time and money to noble causes.
