Etymology

From tai̇̃ (that) +‎ -ai̇̃p (adverbial suffix). See -ai̇̃p for more information.

The form taĩp was introduced into Standard Lithuanian from Lithuania Minor, instead of the Suvalkian forms teĩp, tèp.[1]
