Adobe After Effects is a digital motion graphics and compositing software package published by Adobe Systems. It is used in post-production process of film and television production.

Its main uses are the creation of 2D, 2.5D and 3D animation, visual effects compositing and finishing (image adjustment, color correction etc.). After Effects can also be used as a basic non-linear editor. The current release is version CC 2015.
