ไต้ • (dtâai) (classifier ลูก or ลำ or เล่ม)

1. torch: traditionally referring to one made of decayed wood mixed with rubber oil or dammar gum, often wrapped with myrtle bark or pandan leaves and fastened with bamboo stripes or put into bamboo tubes.
