Differently, a root *h₁reh₁s- (“to rush”) is reconstructed for Ancient Greek ἐρωή (erōḗ, “rush, impulse”), Proto-Germanic *rēsō (“running, rush (of water)”) and Latin rōrāriī (“skirmishers”).[3]
