Reconstruction notes

  • Tibetan and rGyalrongic force the reconstruction of both a dental pre-initial and a nasal pre-initial.
  • The voiceless initial velar in Old Chinese remains a thorny issue. rGyalrongic, Tibetan and Burmese all instead imply a voiced velar initial.
