    Der Waisenvoigt war für die Verwaltung der Güter der Waisen zuständig. Er war der Obrigkeit gegenüber rechenschaftspflichtig und legte deshalb jährlich oder zumindest zum Ende seines Mandats eine Waisenrechnung ab.
    The steward was responsible for the administration of the orphans' estates. He was accountable to the authorities and therefore submitted an accounting yearly or at a minimum at the end of his mandate.
