Usage notes
Compared to English, Swedish has a relatively stronger preference for skjuta (“shoot”) as opposed to avfyra (“fire”) for firing (projectiles from) a weapon. Avfyra sounds slightly more technical in Swedish, like a bit more towards discharge.
