KeePass Password Safe is a free, open-source password manager. It is primarily for Windows, but has official and unofficial forks for the other major platforms, including a portable version, Linux, macOS, and many mobile and other platforms and browser extensions. It officially supports macOS and Linux through the use of Mono.

The various forks often use other libraries and code bases, and the data files are not always 100% compatible. Issues are likely to be specific to the actual product, so question tagging should be with the specific product tag if there is one, or a more general tag, like [password-management].
