Usage notes
- In Assyrian culture, a groom is understood in the context of the family he marries into. Therefore, he is considered the groom of his parents-in-law and siblings-in-law. He is not considered the bride’s groom, but would be considered her ܛܠܝܼܒܵܐ (ṭlībā) or betrothed.
