  1. (transitive) to reveal, to disclose
  2. (reflexive) to become evident
  3. (reflexive, religion) to reveal oneself

Usage notes

The past participle may or may not have the prefix ge-. The form without the prefix (offenbart) is expected according to the rules, and is also more frequent; but geoffenbart is not uncommonly seen.
