- שׁוֹר שֶׁהָיָה רוֹדֵף אַחַר שׁוֹר אַחֵר, וְהֻזַּק, זֶה אוֹמֵר שׁוֹרְךָ הִזִּיק, וְזֶה אוֹמֵר לֹא כִי אֶלָּא בְסֶלַע לָקָה, הַמּוֹצִיא מֵחֲבֵרוֹ עָלָיו הָרְאָיָה.
- Shor she-hayá rodéf aḥár shor aḥér, v-huzzáq, zeh omér shorkhá hizzíq, v-zeh omér lo khi élla v-séla' laqá, ha-motsí me-ḥaver-ó 'aláv ha-r'ayah.
- An ox that had been pursuing another ox so it was injured, if one says "Your ox injured it" and another says "Not so, rather it was hit by a rock," the burden of proof rests upon the claimant.
