Etymology

Inherited from Prakrit 𑀯𑀺𑀳𑀟𑀇 (vihaḍaï), 𑀯𑀺𑀖𑀟𑀇 (vighaḍaï), from Sanskrit विघाटते (vighāṭate, to be marred, broken).[1]
