ระเบียบ

From Old Khmer rpiep (“method, system; order, arrangement, organisation; style, way; regime; rule, regulation”), from which Thai เรียบ (rîiap) was derived.

ระเบียบ • (rá-bìiap)

1. order:
   1. sequence, succession; proper arrangement; organisation, regulation.
      • Genesis 22:9, KJV:

        อับราฮัมก็สร้างแท่นบูชาที่นั่น เรียงฟืนเป็น แล้วมัดอิสอัคบุตรชายวางไว้บนแท่นบูชาบนฟืน

        àp-raa-ham gɔ̂ sâang tɛ̂n-buu-chaa tîi nân · riiang fʉʉn bpen rá-bìiap · lɛ́ɛo mát ìs-àk bùt-chaai waang wái bon tɛ̂n-buu-chaa bon fʉʉn

        Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

      • Leviticus 6:12, KJV:

        ให้ปุโรหิตใส่ฟืนทุกเช้าและให้เรียงเครื่องเผาบูชาให้เป็นไว้บนแท่น

        the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it;

        A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

      • Jeremiah 31:36, KJV:

        ถ้าตายตัวนี้ต้องพรากไปจากต่อหน้าเรา

        tâa rá-bìiap dtaai-dtuua níi dtɔ̂ng prâak bpai jàak dtɔ̀ɔ-nâa rao

        If those ordinances depart from before me,

      • Ezekiel 46:14, KJV:

        ให้เป็นธัญญบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ นี่เป็นเนืองนิตย์

        hâi bpen tan-yá-buu-chaa dɛ̀ɛ prá yee-hoo-waa · nîi bpen rá-bìiap nʉʉang-nít

        a meat offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD.

   4. established system or regime.

The adjective orderly can be translated as มีระเบียบ (lit. have order) or เป็นระเบียบ (lit. be order), e.g., เขาเป็นคนที่มีระเบียบ "he is an orderly person" and ทำให้เป็นระเบียบ "make it orderly."
