  If wanting to know that country's affairs, none are more detailed than this book. Recently, Western barbarians have appeared in our seas, and the English barbarians are the strongest; so this book was written. How can one not print this book and let it into the world! Thus I have added some gloss marking. However, in regards to the names of places and offices, there may be some which I cannot explain fully. I leave these to be reviewed another day.
