轉日蓮

1. (dialectal Mandarin) sunflower (Classifier: 朵 m; 棵 m)

     轉日蓮開着大黃花，喜鵲樹上叫喳喳；樹下拴着大紅馬，妹妹接着喜報跑回家。 [MSC, trad.]
     转日莲开着大黄花，喜鹊树上叫喳喳；树下拴着大红马，妹妹接着喜报跑回家。 [MSC, simp.]

     Zhuànrìlián kāizhe dà huáng huā, xǐquè shùshang jiào zhāzhā; shùxià shuānzhe dà hóng mǎ, mèimèi jiēzhe xǐbào pǎo huíjiā. [Pinyin]

     The sunflowers are blooming big yellow flowers, the magpies are chirping on the tree; under the tree, a big red horse is hitched, the sister runs home with glad tidings.
