     Qǔ pàn pū bèi shàng, yǐ dà zhàng jī èrshí, chuísǐ, yú lái tíng zhōng. [Pinyin]

     He snatched up the judgment and spread it on the peasant's back, then gave him twenty strokes with a great cudgel. The man was carried, half dead, to Duan's office.
