    Dunkel reconstructs the main root as *reǵ- and derives ὀρέγω (orégō) from *h₂o reǵ-. Also from this root *reǵ- would be ἀρήγω (arḗgō) (with prefix *sm̥-) and *werǵ- (< *we reǵ-).[3]
